The top of this table is a bookmatch set of live oak from Oak Cliff that was cut right from the center of the trunk. Dove-tail splines were cut from mesquite and offer a nice contrast to the color of the oak. The steel base was blackened with gun bluing and lacquer, and it supports a wrap around footrest made of the same live oak.
